Europe is simultaneously facing multiple layers of challenges: lagging behind other major global players in artificial intelligence, quantum computing, robotics, and space; the renewed centrality of common defense, brought back to the forefront by the war in Ukraine; and the unresolved issue of Eurobonds. This panel explores the political, economic, and institutional conditions through which the continent could rebuild the trust necessary to act as a cohesive player.
