In this third edition, the architectural design competition proposes a reflection on the future of the city, inspired by the work of Italo Calvino who has elaborated important reflections on the sense of living, relating place, memory and desire. And among the five necessary qualities, listed in his American Lectures, the most suitable to be transposed into architecture is undoubtedly lightness.
During this event will be reflected on the concept of city and space and will be awarded the winners of the competition, called to conceive a small but significant urban intervention in Piazza IX Aprile in Taormina.
