Fifty years after the publication of Horcynus Orca, Taobuk pays tribute to Stefano D’Arrigo’s masterpiece with an original project that intertwines training and performance. Conceived and directed by Dario Tomasello, the show originates from an intensive workshop involving university and high school students in an embodied exploration of D’Arrigo’s narrative structures.
The reading is the staged outcome of this creative process: a choral performative reading, built through an anthology selection of the most emblematic passages of the novel, capturing its expressive power, epic rhythm, and extraordinary linguistic invention.
