On the occasion of Taobuk 2025, in collaboration with the Naxos-Taormina Archaeological Park, comes the presentation of the Manifesto of “TurismA 2025 – Destinations and Boundaries”. This initiative has become a visionary think tank on themes like tourism mobility, destination management, and the proactive role of local communities.
A multi-voiced dialogue exploring the concept of boundaries not as barriers, but as lines of contact and exchange, to be navigated intelligently so as not to become lines of exclusion. Parallel to this, there is a reflection on the meaning of “destination”—not merely as a place to visit, but as a space to inhabit, enrich, and integrate into the daily lives of local communities.
At Taobuk, starting from these inspirations, the conversation looks toward truly accessible, sustainable, and conscious tourism.
