Max Casacci is a musician, producer, songwriter, sound engineer, and experimental artist.
Guitarist and founder of Subsonica—one of the most influential Italian bands of the past few decades—he is currently active in three additional projects.
Under his own name, Max Casacci focuses on transforming matter into music, starting from noises and soundscapes, with or without the use of traditional musical instruments. (Recently, the artist Michelangelo Pistoletto commissioned him to create a sound piece titled Watermemories, made entirely from the sounds and noises of water in Biella.)
