Gioconda Belli

Gioconda Belli is a Nicaraguan writer and poet. She was actively involved in the Sandinista movement against the Somoza dictatorship. Her novels, including La donna abitata (published in Italy by Edizioni E/O), explore themes of freedom and identity.
