The Wilhelm Von Gloeden Award returns, promoted by the Jacques Fersen Association. Inspired by the legacy of the celebrated German photographer who portrayed Sicily through an original and revolutionary lens, the award honours his vision of the island as a hidden Arcadia—poetic, luminous, and Mediterranean.
The ceremony, hosted by journalist Umberto Teghini, will take place in the evocative setting of Casa Cuseni—a historic residence, a symbol of Taormina’s artistic tradition, and the permanent home of the award.
Conceived by Riccardo Tomasello, the event celebrates culture through the languages of visual and performing arts, offering a unique experience where myth and classical heritage are reimagined in a contemporary key.
