Il cibo a pezzi (Bompiani), by Vincenzo Gesmundo, Roberto Weber, and Felice Adinolfi, stands as a clear and refined investigation into nourishment, conceived not only as a biological necessity but as an original, ethical, and political act, imbued with knowledge, symbols, and power. In a time when food has become the stage for a silent yet profound global war, the authors rigorously and civilly outline the fault lines between opposing production models, reflecting different worldviews, concepts of health, and democracy.

Capping the volume, Massimo Cacciari’s meditation elevates the perspective further, restoring to the reader the sacred and archetypal essence of feeding as a foundational act of humanity.
