Directed by Davide Livermore—Artistic Director of the Teatro Stabile di Genova and a visionary known for his ability to fuse word, music, and image into works of rare emotional intensity—the performance seeks to recreate D’Arrigo’s lyrical and visionary world through a uniquely immersive visual and sonic narrative.
Here, the sea becomes a metaphor for life, memory, and fate. A sensorial journey that weaves together passages from the novel and original dramaturgy, the piece celebrates the complexity of language and the enduring power of literature to illuminate the human condition.
