Virginia Spanò was born in Erice and spent the first 23 years of her life in her beloved Marsala. Love later brought her to Messina, where she lives with her husband and three daughters. Her strong bond with her native Sicily, along with an article she read by chance, ignited the spark that led her to write her first novel, Profumi e graffi. It has been a beautiful journey, woven from memories and sensations, discovering magical, unknown places, and dreams that often blur with reality.
