Tea Falco, the pseudonym of Teresa Falsone, is a multifaceted Italian artist born in Catania in 1986. Raised with a strong passion for the visual arts, she began her career as a photographer, exhibiting her work internationally. Her film debut came thanks to master director Bernardo Bertolucci, who cast her as the lead in the film Io e te, earning her a David di Donatello nomination. She achieved widespread television popularity playing Beatrice Mainaghi in the acclaimed Sky trilogy 1992, 1993, and 1994. In 2018, she made her directorial debut with the documentary Ceci n’est pas un cannolo, confirming her constant pursuit of experimentation across cinema, photography, and visual poetry.
