Tamara Jadrejcic

Born in the former Yugoslavia, now Croatia, she worked as a journalist in Zagreb and later from New York for various Croatian newspapers and magazines, including Vjesnik, Jutarnji list, and Globus. She has lived in Italy since 1991, working as a translator and journalist. In 2004, she won the Italo Calvino Prize with I prigionieri di guerra, a short story collection inspired by the Balkan conflict.
