Raffaella Case was born in 1977 on the plains of Bad-Schwalbach, Germany, but grew up on the steep slopes of Belluno, at the foot of the Dolomites. After earning a degree in Philosophy, she has lived and worked in Milan for the past twenty years as a lifestyle journalist. The daughter and granddaughter of migrants, she reflects on identity, roots, and belonging in her writing.
