Leonardo Colombati

Leonardo Colombati was born in Rome in 1970. A writer, poet, and journalist, he is the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine Nuovi Argomenti. He has published the novels Perceber (Sironi, 2005, finalist for the Viareggio Prize), Rio (Rizzoli, 2007, Santa Marinella Prize), and Il re (Mondadori, 2009). He edited the critical anthology La canzone italiana 1861-2011 (Mondadori, 2011) and the volume Bruce Springsteen: Come un killer sotto il sole (Sironi, 2007). In 2016, along with Emanuele Trevi, he founded the Molly Bloom writing school, which he continues to direct. He is a translator of English and American poetry and plays.
