Born in Fez, Morocco, Hadam Oudghiri has lived since 1994 in Milan, where she teaches Arabic Language and Culture and French Language at Bocconi University. She has translated several works by Adonis into Italian, including L’illusione dei miei passi (2011), Non ha età il segreto che racconta di noi (2012)—featuring 12 engravings by Mimmo Paladino—L’orizzonte mi insegnò il garbo delle nuvole (2015), and Adoniade (forthcoming from Guanda). She has also translated works into Arabic by Sebastiano Grasso (2010), Giuseppe Conte (2014), and Yang Lian (2014).
