Gabriele Salvatores is one of Italy’s most renowned contemporary film directors and screenwriters. He won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film with Mediterraneo and has received numerous other awards, including the David di Donatello, the European Film Award, and several Nastro d’Argento.
