Emanuele Carpenzano

A professional photographer with over 25 years of experience, Emanuele Carpenzano lives and works in Catania, Sicily. Alongside his photographic career, he has long been committed to education and training. He is the founder of significant educational initiatives such as NWAC and Symposion, and has been a Nikon School instructor for more than 15 years. For 18 years, he directed the Sikanie Center for Visual Arts, contributing to the artistic and cultural development of the region.

Specializing in portrait and event photography, Carpenzano has always combined his professional activity with a personal artistic vision. In recent years, he has focused particularly on travel photography, launching the project TTL – Travelling to Learn (www.travellingtolearn.it).

Throughout his career, he has served as ambassador and testimonial for some of the most prestigious brands in the photography industry, including Hasselblad, Manfrotto, Profoto, and Nikon. His work has been featured in numerous solo exhibitions, editorial publications, and has received international accolades. Among these, in 2014, he was awarded the title of MQEP – Master Qualified European Photographer by the FEP (Federation of European Photographers), a prestigious honor granted to fewer than one hundred professionals across Europe.

In 2024, he presented the photographic exhibition Namaste. Reportage from India, held at the Palazzo della Cultura in Catania and based on the homonymous book, which premiered in December of the same year.
