Donato Carrisi

Donato Carrisi was born in 1973 in Martina Franca and lives between Rome and Milan. He is a writer, director, screenwriter, and columnist for Corriere della Sera. He is the author of numerous international bestselling novels (published in Italy by Longanesi), including Il suggeritore, La ragazza nella nebbia—which he adapted into the eponymous film, winning the David di Donatello for Best New Director—and La bugia dell’orchidea. His novels, translated into more than 30 languages, have sold millions of copies.
