David Quammen is a well-known science populariser from the USA, studied literature at Oxford and now lives in Montana. For fifteen years he edited a column entitled “Natural Acts” for Outside magazine. His articles have also appeared in National Geographic, Harper’s, Rolling Stone, New York Times Book Review and other periodicals.
