Jonathan Coe

He is considered one of the greatest English literary talents. His novels—from La famiglia Winshaw to Middle England (winner of the 2019 Costa Book Award) and La prova della mia innocenza (2024)—combine political satire, humour, and psychological depth in a four-decade portrait of British society. He is the recipient of the Prix Médicis and the European Book Prize.
