Javier Cercas Mena

Javier Cercas Mena is a Spanish writer, essayist, and translator. Among his most significant works are Soldati di Salamina (2001), Anatomia di un istante (2009), L’impostore (2014), the trilogy that began with Terra Alta (2019), and his latest book Il folle di Dio alla fine del mondo (2025), all published by Guanda. In 2024, he was appointed a member of the Real Academia Española.
