Undersecretary of the Vatican Dicastery for Culture and Education; member of the Pontifical Academy of Fine Arts and Letters of the Virtuosi al Pantheon. Among his most recent works is Dialoghi sulla fede (La Nave di Teseo), a book-length conversation with filmmaker Martin Scorsese.
